The Arc Cinema, Cork, will open its doors to documentary, Cama Sood Hara, which has mesmerised the British film industry. For one night only, this exclusive screening premiere, will be hosted by The Arc Cinema and Haresh Sood Films.

The IECOCORK, board members and management committee, led by their chairperson Dr Kishore Doddakula, will be the VIP guests at this exclusive premiere.

Cama Sood Hara is a poignant slice of life, culture and of growing up, amidst societal and cultural pressures. It is a journey of a man, who finds his voice, to stand firm in his decision, and urge others through his stories to find their own.

Cama Sood Hara takes you on a journey of a myriad of emotions, as Haresh Sood the director, navigates love, loss, and everything in between. Through a witting and clever story telling technique, Haresh, subtly urges the audience to reflect upon an age-old traditional understanding of marriage. He asks the audience to reflect on what happiness really means, and does being married necessarily lead to happiness? He asks us to reflect if marriage is a personal choice or a choice thrust upon us by societal conditioning?

Throughout the documentary, there will be numerous moments where your sense of what you know to be true, will be challenged. Haresh very cleverly turns the spotlight onto the champions of marriage, regardless of the cultures they represent, provoking them to introspect upon the institution of marriage. Haresh with his wit and humour, invites these advocates of marriage to sell the institution of matrimony to him. In this documentary Haresh goes on to share an insightful theory as to why relationships work and fail from his own experiences, based on a plethora of research from experts called the 'I theory.’

This film has been shot over five countries (UK, India, Kuwait, Spain, and Norway), with a cast and crew of 250 people. Throughout the film, you will experience breath-taking, melodious tunes, from artists globally. Some of the notable musicians featured in this film are Alice Offley, DJ Skillmaster, The Days of Tomorrow, Raj Beri and much more.

Haresh and his buddy Pancho are touring internationally with the film, giving “Pawtographs.” This exclusive international premiere in Cork, is surely going to mesmerise the Irish audience and leave an undeniable impression upon their own understanding and beliefs about marriage and relationships.
