The true star is Pancho, Haresh's handsome chocolate Labrador who steels the show, 'which is probably the real reason why people want to see the film' says Haresh as he laughs. Pancho who came out of a Rolls Royce at the Red Carpet has been gracing his presence at all screenings giving 'Paw'tographs and will also be attending Great Yarmouth to meet his fans. Nottingham & Sevilla based Filmmaker and Barrister Haresh Sood is back with his second feature documentary film following on from the success of My 'Nieces Big Fat Delhi Wedding' which took film festivals by storm around the world in 2021 which was released in Cinemas and OTT platforms (now available on Vimeo on Demand at https://www.myniecesbigfatdelhiwedding.com/watch.html) He continues his journey with his key crew members Sarita Sood, his sister the Co-producer of the film and Will Cocker, Editor with film Consultants Saskia Wilson, (TV Producer) and Colin Pons (Film Producer). The latter of whom have a long list of accolades including BAFTA nominations who also trained Haresh at the Sheffield Hallam University Film School where Haresh and Will Cocker both achieved a distinctions in their MA at the Sheffield Hallam Film School in 2020.

Whilst the focus of his first film was on the marriage of his niece, this time the spotlight is on Haresh himself for not being married.

For the first time, we hear from a British Indian male on how and why he is unmarried at the age of 47 years.

Haresh intelligently highlights the discrimination, taunts, comments, and amusing views he has had to endure, whilst simultaneously highlighting the dark underbelly of the Indian matrimonial system.

In the film, Haresh opens his heart and shares his personal and emotional journey through love, loss and much more. He explains how the help of laughter and his chocolate Labrador Pancho, (and many other L words) have played a prominent role in rediscovering his own happiness, including his own larynx.

Haresh cleverly examines the proscribed ‘union of marriage’ by turning the tables on the agents and advocates of matrimony in all communities and cultures. He directly puts them under the spotlight asking them to sell the union to him, adducing some contradictory and interesting responses.

In addition to the the comedy Haresh brings in his skillful story telling manner, his journey highlights many subjects which are never spoken about which have led to many people to being single either through choice, divorce, or having a disinterest in relationships.

Moreover, he creates and shares an insightful theory as to why relationships work and fail from his own experiences based on a plethora of research from experts called the 'i theory' which is gaining immense interest.

The film which has been shot over 5 countries (U.K, India, Kuwait, Spain, and Norway) has a cast, crew, and production team of 250 people and has been receiving immense attention globally amongst the independent film circuit because of it's unique story.

With melodious tunes throughout the film, Haresh has roped in many artists, singers, and musicians both locally, nationally, and globally in this distinctive documentary which can be seen on our music page.

This documentary will leave your thoughts provoked and discussing the topics touched upon from a new perspective.
