Watch the trailer for his first film below which was made as part of his MA at SHU.

While My Niece’s Big Fat Delhi Wedding, focussed on his niece’s extravagant 10-day long wedding festivities, Cama Sood Hara, focusses on Haresh’s personal journey navigating through cultural and societal norms and choosing to remain unmarried. What both these documentaries share in common, is the witting and fresh new story telling technique that Haresh utilises in exposing the dark under belly of the entire Indian Matrimonial system. Haresh who some parts of this filmin India, also visited the SHU office in Delhi, with Will Cocker his filmmaking buddy, who has edited both films and also graduated with a Distinction on the MA. In the Delhi office they met Hema Ramachandran who leads the SHU from India.

Cama Sood Hara is produced by Sarita Sood, co-written by Satya Yadav, has an entire team of professionals behind the screening, including Payal Sood, the Film Publicist and Sushma Rawat, the Film Analyst.

In the film, Haresh opens his heart and navigates through love, loss and everything in between. He explains how the help of laughter and his chocolate Labrador Pancho, (and many other L words) have played a prominent role in rediscovering his own happiness, including his own larynx.

Through the film, Haresh shows, us how Laughter Yoga played a quintessential role in helping him navigate the loss of his mother and to finally understand the legacy she left behind. He finally understands, what she really wanted for him, and that was to be happy, whatever may be the form of happiness he chooses.

He urges the audience to find their own happiness and urges them to look beyond the scope of marriage and reminds the audience that the choice to remain single, undergo a divorce or to get married, must always be a personal one.

Moreover, he creates and shares an insightful theory as to why relationships work and fail from his own experiences based on a plethora of research from experts called the 'i theory' which is gaining immense interest. The film also highlights the 'L' words we overlook to enrich our lives and this screening is dedicated to 'Learning'.

The film which has been shot over 5 countries (U.K, India, Kuwait, Spain, and Norway) has a cast, crew, and production team of 250 people and has been receiving immense attention globally amongst the independent film circuit because of its unique story. Moreover, as the film tours, it is receiving rave reviews which can be seen on all social media platforms @HareshSoodFilms
