Lena’s dedication to helping others began over 30 years ago when she opened her private practice in London. Her early work with women who had experienced sexual abuse instilled a deep compassion for the complexities of human suffering. This led her to work with vulnerable women in prison, those facing homelessness, and survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Driven by a desire to expand her skills and make a greater impact, Lena pursued training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and life coaching. Recognising the profound influence of relationships on individual well-being, she further specialized in couples counselling and psychosexual therapy at the Tavistock Relationships Centre.

Lena’s commitment to ongoing learning is evident in her continued professional development, including certifications in Mentalization Based Therapy and Divorce and Separation Brief Therapy. Currently, she is deepening her understanding of neurodiversity and its impact on couple dynamics, pursuing a master’s degree in Autism.

Lena was specifically invited because of her exceptional knowledge in the matters the film addresses concerning relationships and matrimony globally. Moreover, her experience in South Asian matrimonial issues is second to none and outstanding.
