LAAJ (HONOUR): SAKHI KAUR, LEADING COUNSELLOR, THERAPIST & PEACEKEEPER FROM THE MIDLANDS, TO ATTEND AS A VIP GUEST AT THE BIRMINGHAM PREMIERE OF #CSH, THIS DIWALI, AT THE MIDLANDS ARTS CENTRE (MAC), ON SUNDAY the 19th OCTOBER 2025 AT 5PM.

“Honoring yourself is not selfish, it’s vital.”― Elaina Marie
After the overwhelming response across the UK, Ireland, Scotland and internationally, Cama Sood Hara by Barrister and Filmmaker Haresh Sood, is about to mesmerise the audience in the West Midlands of England in Birmingham, at the VIP screening on 19 October at the MAC. See the trailer below.

Sakhi Kaur is an expert therapist and counsellor who’s spent years helping couples and families untangle emotional knots that could rival any Bollywood plot twist. A proud Panjabi woman with a gift for straight talk and heartfelt humour, she often says, “I became the therapist I wish I’d had — because life doesn’t come with subtitles.”

Having lectured at Lovely Professional University in Punjab, Sakhi brings a unique mix of traditional wisdom and modern psychology to her work. Whether she’s helping partners survive the silent treatment or families survive dinner together, Sakhi’s mission is simple: to help people communicate, connect, and choose peace over drama (most days).
Sakhi, who has had various media appearances, is the founder of Kaur Counselling. She was born and raised in the UK, and is fluent in Panjabi & Hindi, and passionate about breaking barriers and helping you step up into your power. Sakhi says, 'With me, therapy isn’t about sitting in a chair talking about your problems. It’s about building something new, gaining clarity and unstoppable resilience,so you can thrive no matter what life throws at you.'

Known for her exceptional listening skills, and delivery in educational projects, Sakhi loves her work and says 'I don’t just listen, I equip you with powerful, evidence-based tools you can use long after our sessions. Moreover,
I blend professional expertise with cultural understanding, making therapy safe, relatable, and effective.
My approach is laser-focused on results, unlocking everything that holds you back from living the life you deserve'.
Kaur Counselling's mission is to help you operate at your absolute best – And stay there.
Her main focus is on helping clients, break destructive patterns, build a bulletproof mindset, unlock their potential, chip away at change and make it last.

To film which highlights many issues including how to respect yourself and your honour in regaining happiness, makes Sakhi the perfect fit to join the VIP list. To find out more about Sakhi and Kaur Counselling, please click the image or click here.
