Barrister and Filmmaker, Haresh Sood will be giving a talk to aspiring filmmakers during his current film tour for Cama Sood Hara in a special screening of his first film. This was Haresh Sood’s Directorial Debut. A real-life comedy spin on the film called Monsoon Wedding by Mira Nair. My Nieces Big Fat Delhi Wedding was shot in Gurugram, a suburb of Delhi, over 10 days during 10 ceremonies highlighting the key ‘C’ words associated to a big fat Indian wedding including, cost, culture, ceremonies and above all the comedy. Showcased at more than 100 film festivals globally, with a reach of 5 million people worldwide, this film won awards all over the globe in various categories at film festivals.


Haresh, a qualified Teacher also delivers a number of webinars and talks on various film law subjects to students and professionals all over the country frequently. This is a rare opportunity for those wanting to ask any questions to come along and enjoy a film and a talk.

The current Mayor of Gedling elected at the council's AGM on 21 May 2025 is Labour Councillor for the Daybrook Ward, Kyle Robinson-Payne will also be in attendance alongside the Right Honourable Gedling Member of Parliament Michael Payne MP.
