The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members." – Coretta Scott King

After mesmerising the British Film Industry, Cama Sood Hara is set to take Ireland by storm at the Exclusive Irish Premiere. Watch the trailer below.
The India Eire Cultural Organisation of Cork (IECOCORK), connects cultures and enriches lives. In many ways it is a link/bridge between the Indian diaspora and the Irish community. IECOCORK believes that, despite diversity, there is a great possibility for unity. IECOCORK, strives to promote this integration of diversity through organising various events and seminars which bring communities together, thus creating avenues for discussion, understanding and ultimately integration.

IECOCORK is led by Dr. Kishore Doddakula, Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Cork University Hospital, and a Consulting Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Ben Secours Hospital, Cork. Despite, his busy schedule, Dr. Kishore Doddakula has dedicated time for the Indian community in Cork, to allow it to grow from strength to strength.

Under the expert leadership of Dr. Kishore Doddakula and his entire leadership team, the first Hindu Temple in Cork opened its doors in 2024. Though, it is currently a temporary site, discussions are already underway for a dedicated integrated Indian Irish cultural centre, in Cork, a first of its kind in Ireland.

It has been proposed to the City Council, that this centre will house, a large community hall and play area; A cultural centre with capacity for 400-people and a performance space; Short-stay accommodation apartments for Indian students or medics who have arrived in Cork; And a purpose-built temple.

The vision of this Cultural centre stems from Dr. Kishore Doddukula’s personal experience when he arrived in Ireland some 26 years ago. When he first arrived in Ireland, there were many multifaith places of worship, yet not a single Hindu temple. With a population of about 5,000 Indians in Cork, IECOCORK is working towards creating a welcoming, inclusive, space for the Indian diaspora. A place where they can come together to collaborate, to learn, and to celebrate the many Indian/Hindu festivals as one community.

The film which highlights the importance of 'L' words we so often overlook in our lives, IECOCORK represents the importance of linking with others and supporting one another. Haresh Sood Films is very proud and honoured to be hosting IECOCORK, led by a team of visionary and inspiring leaders. Click here to learn more.
