Her Worship, the Mayor of Great Yarmouth Borough, Councillor Paula Waters-Bunn attended as the Guest of Honour for the International Film by the Sea!

Born and raised in the town, Her Worship was elected as a borough councillor in 2016 and represents the Southtown and Cobholm ward. As a passionate advocate for Great Yarmouth, the Mayor was inspired to stand for election after attending council meetings as a member of the public.
Outside of the Council, Her Worship works for Barrett Steel Limited as the health and safety officer at Yarmouth Steel Services.
As Mayor she will chair full council meetings and help to raise money for her chosen charities, which include Great Yarmouth Stroke Group, Age Connected and Shrubland Football Club.
The Mayor said: “All of my chosen charities are special to me. The care and support the Great Yarmouth Stroke Group and Age Connected provide for people is extremely valuable and, as a grassroots sports club, Shrubland Football Club is a beacon in the local community that I am proud to be able to support.
‘’It is an honour and a privilege to have been elected as Mayor by my fellow councillors and I look forward to serving the community in what is an important civic role for the borough.’’
Her Worship is very pleased to be attending, as is the team of Haresh Sood films. Pancho cannot wait to welcome her who is the true star of the show.
