LANGUAGES: MSP (Member of Scottish Parliament) for Banffshire and Buchan Coast, Karen Adams, to grace the red carpet at the exclusive screening of Cama Sood Hara as a VIP in Peterhead on the 10th of July 2025 at The Arc Cinema, at 7pm.

"Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow men." -Mahatma Gandhi
After the overwhelming response at the Irish premiere, in Cork, Ireland, Cama Sood Hara is now ready to send shock waves across Scotland at the exclusive VIP screening in Peterhead on the 10th of July. See trailer below.
This exclusive screening will see MSP, Karen Adams, grace the red carpet at the Arc Cinema in Peterhead.
Karen Adams is a strong advocate and believer in taking learning opportunities from every experience.

MSP Karen Adams was born to a Deaf father, and as such she had to learn BSL (British Sign Language) to communicate with him, which led to her natural immersion within the Deaf community.

MSP Karen Adams is a born advocate and always in the role of championing and lobbying for the rights of others. As a young mother, she volunteered in her community as a "Compassionate Service Leader" and a "Young Women’s Advocate." MSP Karen Adams is also a single mother, caring for her children, some of whom require additional support.
MSP Karen Adams made history by becoming the first woman elected as MSP for Banffshire and Buchan Coast. MSP Karen Adams was also the first ever MSP to take the affirmation in BSL at the swearing-in at Holyrood after her May 2021 electoral victory, paying homage to her roots and to her ties with the Deaf community.
With her extensive work in championing for the rights of others, it is no wonder that, Karen holds positions on both the Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee and the Rural Affairs, Islands and Natural Environment Committee.
Karen continues to be a fierce campaigner for the SNP and Scottish Independence as a member of Banff and Macduff branch, assisting in every referendum and election campaign since 2014.

Away from politics, you will often find Karen spending time with her six children, two grandchildren, her dog Matilda, and her cat Tabitha. Click here for more info.
Haresh Sood, the Barrister Filmmaker together with the production crew are both honoured and humbled to have the presence of a trail blazer like MSP Karen Adams grace the red-carpet exclusive screening of #CSH.
The film promotes the importance of learning languages, to break barriers when meeting new people, through the examplification of Haresh who is a linguist himself. Haresh's own tenure with the British Council for Disabled People, further strengthens this ideology for the need to be understood. MSP Karen Adam's affirmation in BSL at her swearing in ceremony is testament to this ideology.
This is an exclusive VIP screening, with limited seats for the public. If you wish to purchase a ticket, click here.
